PTFE fiberglass fabric designed for removable insulation blankets is used as the outer layer to fabricate insulation jackets and blankets. Removable insulation jacket is used to wrap pipe in harsh industrial environments which requires the outer layer material to be chemical resistant, continuous high heat resistant and high abrasion resistant. Impregnated with special formulated with PTFE resin, our black PTFE fiberglass fabric withstands continuous temperature up to 600°F (315°C), offers water and chemical resistance, the material is in thickness of 0.40mm with double side coating, we also call it 18oz PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, compare with the standard PTFE fabric, PTFE fiberglass for insulation blankets and jackets is much more soft which helps to be fabricated into different shapes and sizes. Black PTFE fiberglass can be made with anti-static surface.
